He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ida Sites; mother, Margaret Thorton; sister, Julie Hardwick and brother, Junie Parsons.
Carl is survived by his wife of 27 years, Susan; sister, Alma Jane (Butch) Tigner; brother, Jimmy (Becky) Thorton; step-daughter, Debbie (Aaron) Cox and other family.
Visitation Wednesday, May 16, 2012 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 10 am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
