Carl B. Whittaker

Carl B. Whittaker, 66, passed away May 16, 2017. He was preceded in death by brother, Wally Kimberlin; parents, Melvin and Bernice Kimberlin; and son, Richard Howington.
Carl is survived by wife of 50 years, Janet; children, Jimmie (Susie) Kelley, Roberta (Keith) Harvey, Carla (Mike) Preece, and Regina (Darryl) Crockett; daughter-in-law, Yolanda Howington; siblings, Connie Street and Melvin (Darlene) Kimberlin; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends; and beloved pets, Paco, Sassy, Louie the Cat, and Snuggles.
Carl loved his 1956 Ford F100, Bad to the Bone. He was a big Ohio State fan, enjoyed car racing, and loved tow trucking.
Visitation Friday, May 19, 2017 from 11:30am until the time of Funeral Service at 1:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carl's name to the National Kidney Foundation, 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr., Columbus, OH 43231.
