She was born on March 24, 1937 to the late Beatrise Brown Wright and John Henry Young.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ward Beecher Moore and loving grandparents Dee and Marshall Brown, her devoted aunt Beulah Cole and loving sister Georgetta Cole, grandsons, James Monroe Jordan, Daylyn Medley, granddaughter, Carmen Michelle Dockins.
She is survived by her children, Karen Moore Jordan, Carmen (Halbert) Moore Dockins, Michelle A. (Philip) Walden, Ward B. Moore Jr., Michael A. Moore, Lynn Moore, Kelly Marshall Jordan, siblings, Rena Carol Peterson, Eugene Robertson, Ronald Robertson, Chilon Cole, Terry Cole, grandchildren, Tori Josey, Carman Jordan, Philip Walden, January A. Walden, Sean Moore, Joshua Moore, John D.B. Dockins, Anthony Moore, Carman Moore, Brian Michael Dockins, and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 12-1pm, Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 1pm.
Burial will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
