Carol Kathleen Floyd

Carol Kathleen Floyd, age 68, of West Jefferson, Ohio passed away on September 22, 2026. Carol was born on October 31, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Estel and Carol Messer.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Floyd, daughter, Christa Messer, siblings, Cindy, Joyce, and Johnny.

She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Tisha (Paul) Gibson, grandchildren, Hannah, Jeremiah, Jason, Dillon, Justen, Makayla, DeVon, Xenia, great-grandsons, Ja'siah, Arsiah, Nisaiah, brothers, Steve, Kevin, sisters, Beth, Christy, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Carol loved baking and decorating cakes. She enjoyed spending time in her garden. Most importantly, she loved taking care of her family. She had the best sense of humor, always making people laugh.

She will be deeply missed.

Per Carol's wishes, a dignified cremation will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home.
