Carol J. Howell

Carol Jean (Reeves) Howell, born May 19, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio. She passed away February 3, 2026, at the age of 64, peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.

Carol Graduated from Whetstone High school, Class of 1979.

Carol was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter whose life was centered around family. She had a warm heart, a caring spirit, and a way of making everyone feel welcome. Whether it was time spent at home, laughing with her grandchildren, or supporting those she loved. Carol found her joy in the people closest to her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Reeves; and sister, Christy Reeves.

Carol is survived by her mother, Lois Reeves; loving husband, Tommy Howell; brother, Frank Reeves; her sons, Joshua (Sunshine) Howell and Jeremiah (Jessie) Howell. Cherished grandchildren, Christian, LaLeigh, Elijah, Shaelyn, and Skylar; niece, Sarah Congrove; and great-nephew, Michael (Mikey) Congrove. Who were all the light of her life.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Immediate family and friends will gather from 3 to 7pm, Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions – Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a cancer association of the donors’ preference.
