Carol J. Spriggs, 77, of Columbus, passed away Monday, April 13, 2015 at St. Ann's.
She was born December 24, 1937 in Athens, daughter of the late Bessie Black Hedges.
In addition to her mother, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Spriggs; sister, Norma Antle; brother, Harold Neutzling.
She is survived by her sons, Frank and Michael Sgandurra; daughter, Toni (David) Tyndall; grandchildren, Corey, Michael and Alyssa Sgandurra and Harper, Ethan and Anthony Tyndall; great grandson, Bentley Sgandurra; special niece, Debbie (Jerry) Hackett; special friend, Rhonda (Roy) Charles and an extended host of family.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Monday, April 20, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Ct. Hilliard, OH 43026 or the American Lung Association, 1950 Arlington Ln. Columbus, OH 43228.
