Carole Lynn Miller, born on August 4, 1942, in Morgantown, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio. She was 82 years old.
Carole dedicated her career as an Administrative Secretary for various companies, where she showcased her organizational skills and strong work ethic. She was also deeply involved in her community, working on political campaigns for five consecutive elections.
She graduated from Franklin Heights High School in the Class of 1960. Carole was a devoted member of Cherry Creek Church of Christ for many years, where her faith shone brightly. She sang in the church choir, participated in the ladies aid group, and served as a Sunday school teacher. Her spirit was marked by kindness; she had a remarkable ability to find the best in everyone she met. Carole was known for her accepting and loving nature and her loyalty to her friends.
In addition to her church activities, Carole was a member of the Eastern Star, where she contributed by performing secretarial duties. Her love for music extended to her hobbies, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and spending quality time with family. Her special potato salad, made with love, was well-known among her loved ones.
Carole is survived by her two sons, Keith Jr. (Cindy) Miller and Kenny (Kimmy) Miller. She is also remembered fondly by her granddaughter, Alyssa Joy, and her step-grandson, Scott Alan, Jr. Among her surviving family members are her sister-in-law, Leora Spence, special friends, Shelby, and Carol, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends who cherished her presence.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Spence and Thyra (Mitchell); her brothers, Roger Spence, Ralph Spence, and Jerry Spence; her sister, Tish (Lulu) Jewett; and her grandson, Ryan Keith Miller.
Carole Miller leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and friendship that will be remembered by all who knew her.
The family would like to thank the hospice nurses from Mt. Carmel Hospice. Also, thank granddaughter Alyssa Miller and great niece Tiffany Ryan for their loving care of Carole.
There will be a memorial in her honor at Cherry Creek Church of Christ for family and close friends at a later date.
