Carole Thivener

Carole Diane (Holley) Thivener, age 81 of Westerville, passed away and went to be with our Lord on February 5, 2026. Carole was born on March 21, 1944, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, to Myron A. and Eleanor A. (White) Holley. 

She graduated from Worthington High School in 1962 and then White Cross Nursing School in 1964. Carole spent her career as a Psychiatric Registered Nurse at Riverside Methodist Hospital. 

She loved flowers, plants, reading, and the beach. 

Carole was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Holley; her father, Myron A. Holley; her mother, Eleanor A. (White) Holley; and her husband, Owen Ray Thivener. She is survived by her brother Jonathan Holley, her children Glenn David Thivener, Laurie (Thivener) Carney, Aimée (Thivener) Ball, her son-in-law Andrew Ball, and her grandchildren Joshua Butcher, Alexander Thivener, Tia Thivener, Bram Carney, Eleanor Carney, Micah Moore, Ethan Moore, and Emily-Rose Moore. 

Carole will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. 

Carole will be cremated and interred at Blendon Central Cemetery in Westerville, Ohio.
