Carolyn Climer

Carolyn (Dolby) Climer, age 77, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021surrounded by her family. Carolyn was born in Columbus to the late Robert and Helen Allen. She is preceded in death by her infant son, Robert Eldin Climer; and brother, Alvin "Buddy" Allen. She attended Central High School and enjoyed being called a "Pirate" and a "River Rat". Carolyn was a stay at home wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was the best big sister to her siblings. She loved Las Vegas, and enjoyed vacationing with her family. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William Climer; sons, William (Autumn) Climer, Robert (Joyce) Climer; daughters, Helen (Jim) Fleming, and Teresa Climer; brother, Robert (Rebecca) Allen; sisters, Mary Whaley, Patricia (Jerry) Perrigo, Susie Rodecker,; many nieces, nephews, and other good friends. Visitation will be held at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. Graveside services will then be held at Green Lawn Cemetery 1000 Greenlawn Ave., Columbus, Ohio at 2:30pm. Pastor Tim Womack officiating.
