Carolyn Ogle, 69, of Columbus, passed away peacefully at home on December 8, 2014. She was born on November 27, 1945, in Columbus, to the late Jack and Velma (Vansickle) Moore.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by husband, William Ogle; daughters, Wendy Myers and Brenda Bayer.
She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Cheryl & James Barrett and Pamela & Jeffrey Staley; son-in-law, Tony Bayer; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Annabelle Gibson; and her special friend, Veronica Neil.
Carolyn was an avid and competitive league bowler most of her life. She enjoyed playing Yahtzee. Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her strong-willed orneriness. Carolyn will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends and family will gather on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8pm in Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 12, 2014 in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
