Carolyne Ann Wilson

Carolyne Ann Wilson, a cherished member of her family and community, passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 87 in Grove City, Ohio. Born on March 11, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio, Carolyne lived a life filled with kindness and hard work, leaving a lasting impression on those around her.

Carolyne enjoyed a successful career, having retired from the Sears Data Center. She was a proud Navy wife, supporting her husband through his service. She was also a graduate of West High School, where she developed friendships and memories that lasted a lifetime.

Her hobbies included bowling, playing Bingo, and enjoying the card game Euchre. She also found joy in shopping, making connections with others in her community. Carolyne was known for her kind nature; people liked her and felt uplifted by her presence.

Carolyne took immense pride in her family, which included her beloved husband of 65 years, Larry, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Larry Wilson; daughters, Lisa (Steve) Armitage and Amy (Matt) Miller; and son, David Wilson. Carolyne was also the proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and had numerous great-grandchildren. She shared a special bond with her sister, Donna (Tom) Parris.

Carolyne's parents, Emmett and Mildred (Friend) Burnett, and her brothers, Robert Burnett and Richard Burnett, have also preceded her in death.

A visitation will be held in Carolyne's honor on January 16, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in Grove City. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at Green Lawn Cemetery in Columbus at 2:00 PM.

Carolyne will be remembered for her warmth, dedication to family, and the many lives she touched throughout her journey.
