Carrie L. Perkins, 68, Columbus, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013. Carrie was born in Augusta, GA on May 29, 1945, to Virgil and Eula B. (Sapp) Perkins and is preceded in death by her parents; son, Tony Washington; sister, Ruthie Mae Perkins; brothers, James and Herman Perkins.
Survivors include her brothers, Virgil, Willie (Barbara), Roosevelt, Leslie (Elaine), Joel (Gail) and Jimmy (Jamie) Perkins; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many additional family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2013, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 PM.
