Carroll E. Tate, age 83, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on May 15, 2026. Carroll was born on January 13, 1943 in Gallia County, Ohio to the late Charles and Virginia (Backus) Tate.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Michael Tate.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Linda Tate, daughter Jamie (Ben) Snedeker, grandson, Aiden Snedeker, brothers, Homer "Bub" Tate, Larry Tate.
Carroll was a proud Air Force Veteran. He was a loving and caring husband, dad, grandpa, and brother. He was Mr. Fix-It. He was a retired mechanic who love fixing things and tinkering around.
He will be deeply missed.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43231 for visiting hours from 1pm - 3pm with Military Honors starting at 3pm.
