It is with a very heavy heart that we share the passing of Catherine (Cathy) Hall on May 26th 2026 at the age of 61. Cathy passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. She had bravely confronted and fought cancer for the last several months. Born on June 28, 1964, Cathy enjoyed her entire life in central Ohio close to her family.

Cathy is survived by: her daughter Ashley (Darrin) and their children Zoey and Kyle, daughter Amanda (Jason) and their children Dallas and Ellie, Russ Hall (father of the children), siblings Mike, Vern and Cindy, and many nieces and nephews. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents Rita and Dale, brother Sam and niece Katie.

Cathy will always be remembered for her love for her family and her big heart. She always enjoyed her conversations with her family and laughing with the grand children. She looked forward to going to work at Friendship Village because she had a great team to work with and it provided her the opportunity to share her kindness and compassion to care for others. Cathy believed that simplicity in life was powerful, less stressful and comforting.

She got a special kick out of attending the Bengals/Browns football games with siblings because the day gave her ample time to practice her sarcasm and stubbornness. Yes – she was an avid Bengal’s fan over the years – never wavering on her belief that ‘This is our year’.

If Cathy was not spending time with her loved ones you could find her in the pool or out in her garden where she was in her element.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on June 1st, 2026 at Vineyard Church; 3005 Holt Road in Grove City, OH 43123. 

A memorial service will immediately follow in the church at 12:00. Graveside services will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery; 6440 S. High Street, Lockbourne, OH 43137.
