Cathie Pruden

Cathie Pruden, age 85 of Columbus passed away at Friendship Village Columbus on May 7, 2018. She was born on October 11, 1932 to the late Eberhardt and Mary Josephine (Lageman) Belhorn in Columbus, OH. Cathie loved gardening, crafts, bird watching and performing arts. She was a retired teacher with the Columbus Public Schools in the Special Education Program. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Charles Richard Pruden, brother, John Belhorn and sister, Peggy Gunn. She is survived by children, Craig (Barbara) Pruden and Tamara "Tammy" (Harold) Segieth; grandchildren, Justin (Jena) Pruden, Sarah (Johnny) Lacy, Corey Segieth and Dylan Segieth; great-grandchildren, Kayden Lacy and Bodhi Pruden and will be missed by all loving family members and friends.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 4pm until time of service at 6pm with Pastor Rebecca Ozcomert officiating.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11am at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave., Columbus, OH.
