Cathy A. Huffman, 65, passed away peacefully, Thursday, September 11, 2014 following a brief battle with cancer.
She was born November 14, 1948 to the late Betty Steiner and Carl Huffman.
Preceded in death by husband, Ed; brothers, Jack Downer and Steve Steiner. Cathy attended Franklin Heights High School.
She was born with a fantastic sense of humor, a feisty personality, was fiercely independent, and an avid cross stitcher.
She will be sadly missed by daughters, Traycee Huck and Connie Sue Short; granddaughters, Ivy and Ani Huck; brother, Bob (Bev) Huffman; sisters, Connie (Peggy Griffin) Huffman and Cheryl (Lon) Patton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorial Service Monday, September 15, 2014 at 11 am with gathering one hour prior at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cathy's memory to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 855 Grandview Ave., Suite 250, Columbus, OH 43215.
