Celie R. Stone, 84, of Columbus passed on Oct. 23, 2019. She was born on Feb. 19, 1935 in Alto, Louisiana to Willie & Mary E. (Bostic) Robinson who preceded her in death she was also preceded by all of her siblings Samuel Robinson, Robert Robinson, Charles Robinson, Roosevelt Robinson, Rosalee Jackson, Lucille Bradshaw, Beatrice Johnson, and Roberdia Robinson-Stewart. She is survived by her daughter Kristina (Gary) Harris and a step-son Leslie Stone, nieces Shirley Cephus, Leslie Scott.
Celie was retired from General Motors. She was a longtime member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11am Wednesday Oct. 30, 2019 with a funeral at 11am at Newcomer NE Chapel with the Pastor Verlin Samples officiating. To leave a message for the family, please click on the "Share Memories" tab above.
