Chad J.Cain, 42, of Grove City, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 17th at his home with his family surrounding him after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
He was such a fighter and never gave up hope. God always gives his hardest battles to his best soldiers, and Chad was definitely a soldier in this fight.
Chad was born on July 4th 1973 in Galion, Ohio to the late Tom Cain and Sandra Wolfe-Dent.
He married Christina Shumway on July 7th 1997, she survives him.
Chad graduated from Crestline High School in 1992, he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Grove City. Chad attended Vincennes University for robotics welding. Chad was previously a store manager for Cash Advance of America in Columbus, Ohio.
Chad immensely enjoyed watching Ohio State Buckeyes football. Chad was a devoted Husband, and Father. He was a stay at home dad for most of his life, and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his children.
In addition to his wife, Christy, he is survived by his children, Chase, Madison, and Caylie, of Grove City, His step father, Roy Dent of Crestline, and step mother, Karen Cain of Winona Lake, Indiana.
In addition to his parents, Chad is preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul Wolfe, and Mary-Belle Dicks-Wolfe, as well as his brother, Kaz Dent.
The family is having a private service for Chad on Friday, April 22nd 2016. Newcomer Funeral Home has assisted the family in the care of Chad.
