Chad Mayhorn

Chad Anthony Mayhorn, 41, of Columbus, passed away on December 27, 2025. He was born in Columbus to Mary Mayhorn and John Glipsy.

 He married Jo Mayhorn on January 5, 2005, and she survives.

 Along with his parents and wife, those left to cherish Chads memories include his two sisters; Tonya Walker and Angela Glispy; his friends, Danny, Jason, Ben, Angi, Sandy, Jonathan, Toni and Mimic; and many other family members, friends, and coworkers. 

Those who preceded Chad in death included his four grandparents, George W. Glispy, Francis Lorraine Glispy, John B. Mayhorn and Rosa Bella Mayhorn. Also included is the death of his brother Johnny P. Glispy. 

Chad worked as a security guard; when he wasn’t working, he loved to play games, go on walks and dates with his wife, and play with his beloved cat ruffnut. 

Immediate family will greet friends and family from 10am to 12pm, Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions – Northeast, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231.

 A service to honor Chad’s life will be held at 12noon on Tuesday, January 13, 2026; at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Union Cemetery.
