Chana Renee' Mutters

Chana Renee Mutters, 33, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 in Columbus, OH. Chana was born on July 17, 1985 in Columbus.

Chana is preceded in death by her mother, Vickie Mutters; grandfather, Perry Mutters; great-grandmother, Margurite Waite; great-grandfathers, Raymond Waite, Hubert Leon Kazee and great-uncle, Terry Waite.

She is survived by her children, Vada Bates, David Jones and Vickie Jones; grandmother, Brenda Mae Speakman; grandfather, Franklin Speakman; step-grandmother, Anita Mutters, Marion Shepherd; aunts, Sandra Mutters (Donald Shepherd), Melinda Speakman, Brenda Speakman/Lehman (Jay); step-fathers, Marvin Grubb, Billy Shepherd; uncles, Perry, Bobby, BJ; cousins, Josh, Justyn, Brittany, James, TJ, Nickel, Kaytee, Corey, Gavin, Gauge, Jocelyn, Montez, Journee, Bryleigh and Whitley.

Chana loved spending time with her kids and family. She was a 'genuis' in school, graduating in 2002 in the first class of Horizon Science Academy. Chana was a very energetic, outgoing, 'people-person.' She loved to dance, sing and be silly. She loved singing and watching the Little Mermaid with her children.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Newcomer Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231.

A funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chana's honor to Sandra Mutters to assist with funeral expenses.
