Charlene A. Greene

Charlene A. Greene 72 of Galloway passed on Fri. March 6, 2015. She was born Dec. 12, 1942 in Columbus to Bennie & Catherine Wells who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by a brother Kenny Wells. Survivors include her husband James, daughter Judi (Gary) Young, son Jimmy (Rhiannon) Greene, grand kids Haley Young and Ian Greene, brother Richard (Helen) Wells, sister in law Patty Wells, brother in law Bill (Dazel) Green and sister in law Lena Greene, Aunt Della Welsh, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Charlene was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved her family and thought the world of grandkids Haley and Ian. She was a retired mail carrier for the Galloway Post Office, and was actively involved with the Central High School Alumnae, where she graduated in 1960.

Visitation will be held Wed. March 11 from 4 to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW, 3393 Broadway Grove City, OH with funeral services to follow on Thurs. March 12 at 11AM. Burial will follow in Galloway Cemetery.
