Charles "Chip" Brent Wooton

Charles Brent Wooton was born on August 12, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio, to Charles N. Wooton, the late Joy (McDaniel) Wooton, and Donna B. Wooton. He was preceded in death by his sister Valerie Wooton Bailey. Chip passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 63.

Chip enjoyed family, dogs, sports, and fishing. He also enjoyed being at home, outdoors, mowing the grass, and caring for their property. Chip also enjoyed old rock and roll music and attending concerts.  He looked forward to his annual birthday party, with family and friends around a large bonfire called "CHIPAPALOOZA". All his family and friends loved him.  

Chip will be deeply missed. He was the loving husband of Silvia Wooton, devoted father to Dustin, and brother-in-law of Jeffrey Bailey, cherished uncle to Ashlee Bailey, Amber Bailey, Kari Bailey Baughman, and family. Also, many cousins of the Wooton and Palmer families and many others. He will be loved and missed forever.
