Listen to Obituary

Charles “Chuck” Franklin, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025. He will be remembered for his warm spirit, gentle humor, and the love he shared so freely with everyone around him.

Survived by his wife Darla, grandchildren Dillon Stevenson, Bailey Stevenson, Elyssa Stevenson and Camryn Franklin. Preceded in death by daughter Amy Franklin, father Robert Franklin and mother Mabel Franklin. Chuck also had close family and friends who were very dear to him.

Music was the rhythm of Chuck’s life. He played in several local orchestras and at his previous church, finding joy both in performance and in the fellowship it brought. In his younger years, he dreamed of becoming a music teacher, hoping to inspire others through the art he cherished so deeply.

Though his career ultimately led him into the world of accounting, Chuck found a calling there as well. As a dedicated CPA, he enjoyed far more than numbers—he treasured the connections with the people behind them. His clients often became friends, and he delighted in the meaningful conversations they shared about life, family, and faith.

Chuck was also a proud Christian, carrying his faith with quiet steadiness and grace. He lived in a way that reflected his beliefs—kind, humble, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

Above all, Chuck was a family man. He cherished his loved ones deeply and was a constant source of support, strength, and gentle wisdom. His love for his family was unwavering and true, and he took great pride in being a husband, father, and grandfather. His family was the center of his world, and he lived each day with a devoted and generous heart. His kindness, patience, and steadfast presence were gifts that shaped the lives of those he held dear.

Chuck’s legacy is one of love, music, faith, and connection. He will be remembered for his warm smile, his thoughtful spirit, his love of music, and the countless lives he touched simply by being himself. Chuck’s legacy lives on in the family he loved, the friends he cherished. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. May his love live on in our hearts forever.
