Charles R. Ebbesen, 88, of Gahanna, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at his home. He was born on May 9, 1933 in New Bedford, MA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Enid, parents, Harvey C. and Elizabeth Ebbesen, grandchildren, Shaun and Ryan Welch, A.J. Rutz, great-grandchild, Lacey Welch, brother, Arthur Ebbesen.
Surviving family includes children, Brenda Laucher, Beth (Tim) Lamborn, Mike (Michelle) Ebbesen, Rick Ebbesen, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters, Carlene (Tom) Bittner, Carol (Bill) Clemishaw.
Visitation will be held from 3-4pm, Friday, May 14, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231, where a funeral service will begin at 4pm.
Burial will be at 1pm, Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Columbus, OH.
