Charles F. Elliott, 72, passed away after a brief stay at Kobacker Hospice House. He was born in Charleston, WV to the late Iris Elliott and William "Bill" Elliott.
He is survived by his loving wife Marlene of 53 years and his two children Charlene (Troy) Smith of Orient, OH and Wade (Jessica) Elliott of Kettering, OH. Also like a daughter to him Elizabeth (Steve) Spencer of Englewood, OH. Thought of as sons Christopher (Ann) Fulton and John (Amy) Fulton. He has four grandchildren Kyle, Amber, Melody and Jeffery. He has one surviving sister Peggy Blankenship of Xenia, OH. John Elliott his brother preceded him in death.
He was blessed to have many friends and family who loved him and will miss him. He retired from Yellow Freight and was a teamster for 30 years.
Visitation will be held from 1-3pm, Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 3pm officiated by Pastor Jon Fulton. Burial will follow in Beckett Cemetery.
