Charles Leroy Gray
June 5, 1941 — March 22, 2020
Charles Gray, age 78, longtime Columbus resident, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 22, 2020. Charles served 8 years in the United States Air Force in Security and Law Enforcement, tour of duty in Korea and Vietnam. He later retired from the Franklin County Sheriff's Department in 1997, after 25 years of service.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, George and Emma (Cunningham) Gray. He is also preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Peggy (Estep) Gray. He is survived by his two loving daughters, Yvonne (Richard) Weller, Cassandra (Matt) Holland; loving son, Charlton Gray and three grandsons, Joshua Seiler, John Lucas, and Zachary Ruff.
Private services are being held at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL.
