Charles H. Crego, 73, Columbus, OH passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Chuck was born in Vinton County, OH on April 18, 1941, to the late Marvin K. and Susan V. (McManis) Crego.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 51 years, Brenda (Norton) Crego; sons, Charles (Michelle) and Christopher (Amy) Crego; sisters, Wilma (Lex) Leonard, Jean (Bill) McMillen, Emma McCutchen, Carolyn (Greg) Schafer; brother, Robert (Susan) Crego; grandchildren, Cameron (Alison) Crego, Cody (Christi) Crego, Caleb Crego; great-grandchildren, Landon, Logan and Cohen Crego; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
He retired from the US Air Force after 23 years of service.
Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, 11:00 AM at Infinite Church, 81 Mill Street, Suite 210, Gahanna, OH 43230.
Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, Delaware, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5555 Frantz Road, Dublin, OH 43017.
