Charles J. Grebetz

Charles J Grebetz, 92, of Columbus, OH, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013, in Scottsburg IN. Charles was born in Columbus, OH to Paul and Caroline (Szeiff) Grebetz and is preceded in death by his parents and 10 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian (Barnhart) Grebetz; daughters, Connie (Kirk) Levi, Sheri (Matt) Wirth; grandchildren, Matthew (Margo) Levi and Michael Levi; great-grandchildren, Madelynn Levi and Blake Levi; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Charles was a veteran of WWII serving with the Army Air Corps and worked for the Columbus Dispatch as a photo engraver for 31 years. His hobbies included playing golf, watching sports and reading.
Family and friends will gather on Monday, December 23, 2013, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Charity Newsies, 4300 Indianola Avenue, Columbus OH 43214.
