Charles E. Netral, age 95, passed away March 30, 2020.
Charles was born on February 20, 1925 to Myrtle Pyatt and Anthony Netral in Caperton, West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by mother Myrtle Sanders, stepfather Bill Sanders, brother Clifford Sanders, sister Pauline Mann, and daughter Linda Akers. He is survived by wife Joan Netral, son Carl '"CJ" James Netral, daughter Leisa (Netral) Smith, daughter Sonya (Netral) Rohrs, son Tony Netral, 9 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
Charles, having only a third grade education, achieved and succeeded in many things throughout his lifetime. He held multiple jobs during the Great Depression, enrolled in the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), served as an Army soldier and MP during World War II, retired as a conductor for Conrail, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He will be laid to rest in the Grove City Cemetery surrounded by his immediate family.
