Charles "Marty" Thomas, 66, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 in Columbus, OH surrounded by his loving family. A Columbus native, he was born on October 19, 1947 to Charles and Irene (Blanton) Thomas.
Marty is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Charlene Thomas.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lori; daughter, Mari Elisabeth McGuire; sister, Cathy (Frank) Shea; niece, Julie (Jim) Teets; nephew, Jim Schoby; and great nephews, Adam and Christian Teets.
Memorial services for Marty will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2:00pm at Dublin Community Church (Old Chapel), 81 W. Bridge St. Dublin, OH 43017. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Melanoma Research Foundation, www.melanoma.org.
