Charles Clifford Truex, 82, passed away December 24, 2018 in Columbus Ohio.
"Chuck" was born February 7, 1936 to Glenn and Ethel Truex.
He graduated from Burnham High School in Sylvania Ohio and served in the army from 1959-63. Careers included computer programming, painting and wallpapering, and remodeling homes. Chuck was a food enthusiast, golfer, fisherman, treasure hunter, coupon lover and friend to everyone. He is remembered for his blue eyes, sweet smile, and giving spirit.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Margot Connor, daughter Lisa Steinbauer, son Brian Truex, bonus daughters - Kacey Powell, Marnie Schultz and Audrey Connor, sister Janet Tindall, eight grandchildren, one great granddaughter and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son Matthew Truex.
There will be a Celebration of his Life Sunday January 6th, 3:00 PM at Karl Road Christian Church, 5400 Karl Road, 43229.
