Charles W. Sword, 72, of Columbus, OH, passed away on June 5, 2015. He was born on August 30, 1942 in Greenfield, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Julia Margaret (Yankie) Sword and brother Gary Lee Sword.
Surviving family includes wife, Gwendolyn (Hendershot), children, Sheri (Kevin) Krepps, Julia (Linzie) Morgan, Javin (Christina) Sword, grandchildren, Megan, Veda, Sarah, Willow, Linzie Desiree, Chelsie, great-grandchildren, Hayleigh, McKenna, Justin Jr., Kayne, sisters, Patricia Rockey and Christina Rayburn.
Burial will in Dayton National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Zangmeister Center or Mt. Carmel Hospice.
