Charlie Cumbow

Charlie Cumbow, 66 of Gahanna, passed away at his residence on May 23, 2015. Born on January 3, 1949 to the late Gaines Cumbow and Emma Lou (Cumbow) Helsel in Huntington, WV. Charlie graduated from Mifflin High School in 1967. He served his country during the Vietnam War while serving with the U.S. Army and a member of the VFW Post 9473, Reynoldsburg, OH, member of IBW #683 and was a volunteer at the VA Clinic. Survived by wife of 34 years Debbie (Deem) Cumbow, children April (Mike) Diehl, Nellie Cumbow, Tre' Cumbow and Erin Kelley, grandchildren Emily, Samantha, Kayla, Lynsi, Alysa and Colton, sister Donna Cumbow, mother-in-law Polly Deem, several nieces, nephews and special friends. Preceded in death by son Andrew Charles Cumbow.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 11am to 1pm.
