Charlotte Marie Curnutte, a beloved mother, devoted wife, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2026, in Grove City, Ohio. Born on August 26, 1970, in Columbus, Ohio, Charlotte’s life was marked by her unwavering kindness and the profound love she held for her family and community.
Known for her heart of gold and gentle spirit, Charlotte was the foundation of her family and a dear friend to many. She was a loving wife to her husband, Michael, whose partnership and support were constants throughout her life. A nurturing mother, she was deeply devoted to her sons, Justin Alan and Darin Samuel, who carried forward her values of compassion and resilience. Charlotte’s close bonds extended to her mother, Constance Slavans, and her sister, Jamie Hicks, who stood by her through every joy and challenge. Though she is deeply missed, the memory of her father, Larry Smith, and her brother, Steven J. Smith, who predeceased her, continue to hold a significant place in the hearts of all who loved her.
Charlotte’s life will be honored with a visitation at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest, located at 3393 Broadway in Grove City, Ohio, on April 12, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Following this, a funeral service will be held at the same location at 10:00 AM. Family, friends, and all whose lives Charlotte touched are invited to gather to celebrate her legacy and the enduring impact she has left behind. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery.
