Charlotte Annette (CJ) Murdock (Burton), 54, of Wilmington, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020.
Born on December 16, 1965, CJ graduated from Mifflin High School in 1984.
After graduating, she spent many years working with the elderly and individuals with special needs. In recent years, she enjoyed crocheting and reading. Christmas was her favorite holiday.
CJ is survived by her father, Robert (Dusti) Burton; one son, SFC John T. James U.S. Army; one daughter, Whitney (Derek) Madden; three sisters, Brenda (Tav) McClellan, Samantha (John) Thomas and Tiffany (Jacob) McWhirter; two brothers, Robert Burton, Jr., and Adam Burton; and four grandchildren, Sarah, Tyler, Natalie and Ted.
She is also survived by her partner, Dave Slone; her very best and longtime friend, Angy (James) Thompson-Damron; and her step-father, John Ragase.
She was loved by many extended friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Ragase.
The family will not hold visitation hours. Cards of condolences may be sent to John James, 6332 NW Taylor Ave., Lawton, OK 73505.
