With hearts touched by both sadness and gratitude, we announce that Charlotte Deanna Parker went to be with the Lord, on July 22, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio, at the age of 88. Born in Princeton, West Virginia, on February 7, 1938, Charlotte graced every day of her remarkable life with kindness, strength, and an unwavering faith in the goodness of family.
Charlotte’s journey was illuminated by steadfast devotion to her loved ones—a beacon through the seasons of joy, challenge, laughter, and remembrance. She was the cherished daughter of Milton and Willie Mae Croy, whose memories she carried lovingly throughout her days. Her family tree, firmly rooted and fruitfully branched, stands as a testament to her nurturing spirit.
She was preceded in death by two beloved husbands, George Parker and Gene Mason, who each enriched her story with companionship and love. Also preceding her were her treasured sister, Geraldine Fetter; her grandaughter, Jennifer Parker; and her devoted sons-in-law, Timothy Mitchell and Dennis Oliver.
Charlotte’s greatest legacy lives on through the four loving daughters who survive her: Pamela (John) Curtis, Sharon Oliver, Kathy Parker, and Sandy (Carl) Pierce, each one carrying forward her wisdom, compassion, and the spirit she so generously shared at every turn. The circle grows wider with her grandchildren—Stephanie (Joe) Bandy, Stacey (Mike) Wyatt, Chris (Stella) Mitchell, Timothy (Kris) Oliver, Joshua Oliver, Caleb (Erica) Oliver, Ashley (Jacob) Pollard, Michelle Sorrell, and Joshua (Manda) Fletcher, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren—whose lives have been forever enriched and guided by her gentle hand and enduring encouragement.
Though her hands now rest, the resonance of Charlotte’s love continues to echo in the hearts of all who knew her. Her strength, resilience, and warmth cultivated lasting bonds, and her memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration to her family.
To honor and celebrate Charlotte’s life, visitation will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Immediately following, a graveside service will commence at 2:00 PM at Alton Cemetery, Alton Darby Creek Road, Galloway, Ohio, where she will be laid to rest with dignity and profound affection.
As we bid farewell to Charlotte Deanna Parker, we reflect on a life well-lived—a tapestry of love and perseverance woven through decades. She leaves behind a family bound together by the values she imparted and memories that will forever shimmer with her grace. Her journey on earth may be complete, but her legacy remains, vibrant and eternal, in all she has left behind.
