On 18 March 2020, Chatos Dorian Obey, known to friends and family as "Woo", was called home to be with the Lord. He was a loving son, brother and an amazing father. His children and his dog, Boomer, were his world. Born on 20 July 1994 to Merrie Green and Chatos Obey at Grant Hospital, he was a lifetime resident of Columbus area and graduated in 2012 from Westland High School. Woo worked at Rumpke driving an industrial forklift and truck which was a job he loved and received a promotion working as a supervisor during his employment there. Woo also owned his own hauling business as well as painting, lawn care and rental property clean up. He was known for his hard work and getting things done. When Woo had some down time, he could be found spending time with his children and his dog as well as his nieces and nephews. Woo loved to tinker and work on cars and trucks. He loved to fish and shoot, he loved to cook and spend time with his family. Woo will be remembered by his family and friends as loving and goofy, while bringing a chill vibe to any situation. He loved helping people and taking care of his loved ones and making people laugh. He will be missed for his smile, making people laugh and cracking jokes, and his family will miss hearing his voice most of all. Woo is survived by his sons, Tryson, Khari and Duece and baby Royce, his mother, Merrie (Michelle White) Green, his father, Chad (Yvonne) Obey, as well as Erin Palmer and Deneen Jackson. He is also survived by his siblings: Ashley Green (Zack) of Canton, Ohio, Josh Green (Bri) of Columbus, Ayanna Obey of Columbus, Sara Tullas (Serina) of Rootstown, Ohio, Marshawn and Reese Burton of Columbus, Ohio, Chancey McMahon and Tone as well as nieces and nephews: Isabella, Johannah, Trey, Carter, Hayden, Kingstyn, and Kadence, as well as, grandparents Charles Green and Fred Obey. He is also survived by aunts and uncles: Deron Obey, Tasha Obey, Tony Williamson (Bette) of Georgia and Jason (Melissa) Green of Virginia as well as extended family from Ohio and West Virginia.
