Cheryl Ann Stilwell ("Waffle Mom") touched countless lives in ways words can only hope to capture. Born on August 12, 2026, in Springfield, Ohio, and passing away far too soon on August 2, 2026, at Mount Carmel Hospital in Grove City, Cheryl’s life was defined by love, warmth, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear.

To her beloved husband, Timothy Stilwell, Cheryl was more than a partner; she was the best wife, life companion, and soulmate anyone could ever ask for throughout a lifetime. Together, their journey was marked by laughter, gentle support, and an abiding faith in each other.

Cheryl’s nurturing spirit was felt deeply by all her children: Clinton (Tina) Fyffe, Kelly Fyffe, Jason (Eva) Fisher, John Wilson, Casey (Sage) Stilwell, and Adam (Avery) Stilwell. Whether as a mother or step-mother, Cheryl’s devotion had no boundaries—she would gladly go to the ends of the earth for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, offering wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional love with every interaction. That same radiant love shone through her special bond with her 14 grandchildren, Nicole, Sara, Shay, Connor, Ian, Arianna, Mya, Zeke, Rayna, Annabelle, Liam, Maxine, Sophia, Britton, as well as her 4 great-grandchildren, Willow, Raven, Sofia, and Asher. Each of them carries a unique memory of Cheryl—her infectious laughter, her wicked sense of humor, her hugs, her ever-listening ear, and her gentle advice—imprinted upon their hearts.

Family always meant everything to Cheryl. Her brother, Doug Northup, remembers her not only as a sibling, but as a confidante and friend; she cherished connecting over shared childhood memories and life’s winding journey.

A Celebration of Cheryl's wonderful life will be held starting at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 12th, 2026 at Cedar Ridge Lodge (1775 Darby Creek Dr, Galloway, OH 43119).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made in Cheryl's memory to the American Cancer Society (P.O. Box 6704
