Christa Hedwig Stillings

Christa Hedwig Stillings, 89, of Orient, Ohio passed away on June 23, 2025 at Morrison House in Zanesville. She was born in Germany on May 28, 1936 to the late Alfred and Annie (Schneider) Treutel. She married Gerald Stillings on March 15,1957, and he preceded her in death on March 19, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory includes children, Rick (Sherry) Stillings, Tina (David) McNeely, Lynn (Pat) Ott, and Karen (Tim) Miller; grandchildren, Zack (Sage) Stillings, McKenna (Nate) Poleway, Caleb Martin, Kaitlyn (Drey) Thompson, Kristen McNeely, Stacie (Bobby) Stewart, Justin Ott, Tonya (Phil) Swindler, Kassie Miller, and Laura Miller; great-grandchildren, Stevyn, Lottie, Selah, Heidi, and Liesel; and many other family members and friends.

Christa loved caring for her family, so much so that she would host Sunday dinners every week for whoever could make it, no matter what the size. It usually consisted of 12 plus family members. Christa loved to cook, do crafts, shop and go bowling. Her Cheese Cake and desserts were over the top! However, her truly favorite pastime was being a grandma (Oma) and watching the kids grow up. She was always up for a good practical joke. You always had to open Christmas presents with caution!
