Christina Dehaven Wiley, fondly known as Chris, passed away on December 24, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. Born on July 8, 1967, Chris lived a life filled with compassion, joy, and selflessness. Her warmth and dedication to others made her one of the sweetest ladies anyone could ever meet.
Chris was a graduate of Chillicothe High school class of 1985 and still enjoyed the class reunions. She devoted much of her career to Quantum Health, where she served as a patient service representative. She truly loved her work there, finding fulfillment in helping others and being an unwavering support to those in need. Her colleagues and friends will always remember her reliability and the way she would give the shirt off her back for someone else.
Family was at the core of Chris's life. She cherished her role as a mother and grandmother, taking immense pride in her sons, Nathaniel and Justin, and her grandchildren, Ellie and Lincoln. Family gatherings brought her so much joy, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Chris was also an passionate fan of the Buckeyes and enjoyed camping, creating beautiful memories along the way.
Chris is survived by her beloved father, Glenn Burchwell and stepmother, Marilyn; her sons, Nathaniel (Stephanie) Carver and Justin (Bryttany Quillen) Wiley; grandchildren, Ellie and Lincoln; her brother, Glenn (Melissa) Burchwell, Jr.; and her sister, Alex Burchwell. Together, they will carry on her spirit of love and kindness.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Sheila Burchwell, whose memory will forever be cherished.
A memorial gathering to honor Chris's life will be held on January 3, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service from 3:00 PM , at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest, located at 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
Chris’s gentle spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on through those who were fortunate enough to know her.
