Christine Estepp, 84, of Grove City, passed away on July 13, 2025 at the Laurels of West Columbus. She was born in Red Jacket, West Virginia to the late Lon and Mary (Acord) Sammons. She was married to Phillip Estepp for 50 years before he preceded her in death on March 27, 2011.
Those left to cherish Christine’s memory include daughters, Carolyn (Ed) Cordova and Phyllis Estepp; sons, James Estepp (Vicky) and Shawn Estepp; step-son, Ron (Carla) Cassady; grandchildren, Kristen, Bethany, Kelsey, Brooke, Chesney, Jayden, Logan, and Grayson; step-grandchildren, Brittany, Jordan, Sean, and Ronnie; great-grandchildren, Harper, Camden, Carson, Noah, Cooper, and Reagan; sibling, Goldie Maynard; sisters-in-law, Wanda (Dennis) Ross and Wanda Sammons; and many other family members and friends.
Along with her husband and parents, Christine is preceded in death by sisters, Irene Sammons (twin sister), Joyce Noel and Patty Gibson; brothers, Robert Sammons and Herschel Sammons; mother-in-law, Juanita Estepp; father-in-law, Roy Estepp; sisters-in-law, Janet Wright and Thoma Sammons; and brothers-in-law, Richard Estepp, Danny Estepp, Tom Noel, and Darrell Maynard.
She worked as an Accounting specialist for Dean & Barry Paint Company and retired after 39 years of dedicated service. When she wasn’t working, Christine loved to spend time shopping, going on vacation with her family, and spending quality time laughing with family and friends.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the loving care provided by several members of the Laurels of West Columbus staff, including Stephanie Jeter who is now part of our extended family, as well as Jessica, Sophie, Abby, Sandra, Kim, Felix and Heidi. We would also like to acknowledge the wonderful care she received from ViaQuest Hospice the last few months of her life.
Immediate family will greet friends and family from 3pm to 6pm, Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. A service to honor Christine’s life will be held at 10am on Monday, August 4, 2025 at Newcomer Grove City. Burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery.
