Christopher Beaty, 53, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025. A devoted husband, father, artist, and friend. Chris lived a life filled with creativity, generosity, and unwavering faith.

A gifted artist, Chris poured his heart into every project, whether it was designing sets, creating lighting masterpieces, or transforming his home into a winter wonderland each Christmas—a tradition his neighbors and family cherished. His dedication to making the world a more beautiful place was evident in all he did.
Chris was a faithful member of the Catholic Church and an active member of the Knights of Columbus. Where he found both fellowship and purpose in serving his community.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years, Kristin Beaty; his children, Jacob (Izabel) Stout, Madalynn (austin) Goudy, and Samarah Beaty; His siblings Lara (Torrence, August) Barbara (Jim) Johnson, Marion Culberson, Rama Burns, Jack Beaty; and beloved Mother Janice Beaty. As well as countless friends and loved ones who will miss his humor, warmth, and boundless creativity. Preceded in death by, sister Norma Kuisle and father Samuel Beaty.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at his home to honor and celebrate Chris’s life and legacy.
One of Chris's favorite quotes, taken from The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, was: "The answer to the great question...of Life, the Universe and Everything is forty-two." Those who knew him will smile at this quote, remembering his wit, intellect, and the joy he found in life’s mysteries.
Chris will be deeply missed, but his light will continue to shine in the memories of all who loved him.
