Christopher Douglas Kazee of Columbus, OH, passed away at the age of 40, Sunday, August 23, 2020.
Born on October 24, 1979. He left us all to go home to be with the Lord.
Christopher was a gentle soul that loved to be around people and would do anything for you! He loved the outdoors, including fishing, boating, golfing, basketball and football.
He also loved his music and watching horror movies through out the night. Chris loved to travel, take vacations with his family and loved to cook for everybody. He was a Columbus Dispatch carrier for several years and received several awards. He held the track record at Wedgewood Middle School for years and attended Bishop Ready High School. He enjoyed being with his son. They both loved their sports and loved buying shoes. He also volunteered through Foodbanks and the halfway house to give back for his help. He was employed by NRS Railroad Systems, Peco Pallets Company and loved working for his father in the family business.
He leaves behind his son, Christopher Douglas Kazee II, loving parents, Robert and Shirley Kazee, sister and brother-in-law, Kimberly and Charles Holcomb, nephews, Michael Phillippi, Andrew Phillippi, nieces, Ali Phillippi, Kennedy Watson, girlfriend, Katie Whipple, uncle and aunt, Marvin and Donna Bell, aunt and uncle, Judy and Richard Shuster, uncle and aunt, William and Sharon Crabtree as well as multiple extended family and friends. Chris was greatly loved and will be sadly missed. Fly High my son, your wings were just to big for Earth!
Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Monday, August 31, 2020 atNewcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. A funeral service will begin at 11am, Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Alton Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
