Christopher Simmons

Christopher "Chris" Simmons, age 51 of Delaware, passed unexpectedly on May 21, 2020. He was born on October 28, 1968 in Columbus, OH. He was a member of the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne and Masonic Lodge. Christopher is survived by his loving wife and best friend Tara (Kibler) Simmons, children Kala, Ashley and Leah (Trent), Jadyn and his side kick, Logan, grandchild Katherine "Kat", mother Georgia (Gary) Winters, brother Tim (Heather), niece Isadora, host of friends and relatives. He is preceded in death by father Bobby Gene Simmons.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 4pm until time of service at 6:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Disabled American Veterans.
