Clair R. Miller, 86, of Bellefontaine, OH, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 19, 2015. Born August 23, 1929 in Quincy, OH, he was a son of Murl Miller and Elvenah (Standard) Miller Toops and is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 58 years, Elizabeth Ann Miller; daughters, Nancy Miller, Ellen (Miller) Anderson Cathey, Joyce Arleen Miller; son-in-law, Ted Cathey; brothers, Murl Miller Jr., Eugene Miller and sister, Betty Mershon.
He is survived by daughters, Rosanna Miller of Amanda, Kathleen (Roger) McCorkle of Gahanna; son, James Miller of Bellefontaine; granddaughters, Camie and Paige McCorkle; grandsons, Mike (Marit) Greer, Brandon McCorkle, Chad Anderson; four great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
He worked for the railroad and retired from Conrail. He loved life and enjoyed the outdoors, working with his hands, and tinkering in his garage. He was a gentle man with a warm smile who loved his family.
Private Service Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home. Private interment at Huntsville Cemetery.
