Clarence Brown

Clarence E. "Gene" Brown, 82, passed away peacefully, April 20, 2015 at his home. He was preceded in death by parents, Columbia and Daisy Brown; brothers, Leonard, Leslie, Alvis and Lee Williams; sisters, Estella Bradley, Dorothy Jennings, Melvina Billett, and Helen Cline.

Gene is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Margie; children, Kathy (Sonny) Liff of London, Debbie Edgington of Mt. Sterling, Ronald (Janet) Brown of Mt. Sterling, Myron (Barbara) Brown of Mt. Sterling and Jeffrey Brown of Ashville, OH; 8 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; sisters, Etta Johnson and Sybil McNabb; brother, Lawrence (Juanita) Brown; and many nieces and nephews.

Gene enjoyed spending his time with his family, traveling, fishing, hunting, and serving the Lord.

Visitation Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 5-8 pm at Mt. Sterling First Church of the Nazarene, 226 N. Market St., Mount Sterling, OH 43143. Funeral Service Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 11 am at the church. Interment to follow at Bethel Cemetery, Range, OH.
