Clarence Virgil Nichols

Clarence "Fred" Nichols, age 76, passed away peacefully, at home in his sleep, on Friday May 18, 2018. Fred is predeceased by his parents; Rufus and May Nichols, loving wife of 42 years, Karen Sue Nichols, siblings; Mildred, Ruth, Helen and Paul and step-son Joseph Haughn. He is survived by his sisters; Bo and Judy brothers; Frank and Ben. Children; Jill (Ron) Vogel and Paul (Julie) Nichols, Grandchildren; Joey, Justin and Josh, Step-Grandchildren; Christopher and Breeana Vogel and Step-Great Grandchildren; Axeton, Veronica and Haven Vogel. Fred proudly served his county in the U.S. Navy and worked for General Motors as a welder for over 32 years until his retirement. Visitation will be Saturday May 26, 2018 from 10am to 12pm with a memorial service directly following at 12pm at House of Prayer, 853 Butler Ave, Columbus OH 43223. Services are entrusted to Newcomer Southwest Chapel, Grove City.
