Clifford Parsley
March 2, 1945 — June 30, 2016
Clifford Parsley Jr, 71 of Grove City, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Cliff was born on March 2, 1945, in Kermit WV to the late Sadie Parsley Williams and is also preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Spence) Parsley.
He is survived by his children, Rick (Jamie) Parsley, Deena Parsley and Jacqulyn Griffith; sisters, Yvonne (Ben) Crawford, Linda (Jim) Batey and Charlene (James) Parsley; brother, Arvil (Joanne) Parsley; uncle, Homer (Lucille) Parsley; grandchildren, Amber Parsley, Meghan Parsley, Jonathan Parsley and Janine Griffith and many friends.
Cliff served in the US Army for two tours in Vietnam before beginning his career at National Electric Coil. During his time with National Electric Coil, he traveled the world and was able to experience many different cultures.
He was an avid golfer and was a member of Oakhurst Country Club for over 20 years.
He was well respected, generous and loved by many.
Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, 5-7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
Military Honors will be observed at 7PM.
