Clotine Ciccone, age 77, of Columbus, Ohio, passed into the arms of the Lord on June 4, 2016, surrounded by her family. Clo had been ill for many years, but her passing was sudden and unexpected, as the Lord opened his arms for her on June 3, 2016. She was born in Blaine, Kentucky to the late Ora and Effie Boggs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Ciccone in 1991; sisters, Pauline Webb, Myrtle Kay Stephens; brothers, James Elwood and Jesse Lee Boggs. Clo is survived by her daughters, Brenda Jo "Jody" (T.W.) Snyder and Blenda (Harold) Mills.; grandsons, Richard (Angela) Ciccone, Matthew Snyder and Eric Steller; great granddaughters, Kaylia (Corey) Larkin and Ashley (Joshua) Endlich; great-great grandchildren, Lyndsey and Landon Larkin, Tayler, Bentley,McKenzie Endlich; sisters, Jewell Hatton, Maxine Compton, and beloved and cherished cat, "Mia".
Clo will be remembered as a kind, loving, generous person and was adored by many. She most enjoyed time spent with her family, her yard and her beautiful roses. She retired from Lucent Technologies and was the former owner of Johnnie's Pizza in Grove City. She was a member of Southwest Freewill Baptist Church.
The family expresses gratitude to Dr. Tom Peponis, Jr. and staff, Kim and Sherry and to Senior Independence with a special thank you to Julie Maynard for the compassion and support.
Family will receive friends from 4-8pm, Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral, S.W., 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH where the funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, June 8, 2016. Pastor John Meade officiating. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
