Clyde Emory (Pete) Kinnison Jr 1946-2016
Pete was born on January 13, 1946 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Clyde Emory Kinnison Sr and Millicent Kinnison.
He spent his youth on Hartman Farm where his dad was the foreman.
He attended Hamilton Township Schools where he met and married his high school sweetheart in 1966.
Together they moved to Shadeville, Ohio and raised their family.
He was employed for several years at Lockbourne Farmers Exchange in Lockbourne, Ohio.
He retired from Sam's Equipment Rental in Columbus, Ohio where he was a truck driver for many years.
In his retirement he enjoyed baking and cooking especially around the holidays.
He spent time gardening and surrounding the house with many different kinds of beautiful flowers.
He also enjoyed working on his and Linda's house building a large porch addition among other things.
In the last few years he cared for his wife until her death in 2011.
Pete passed away on September 29, 2016 while in Hospice Care at Mount Carmel West Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Clyde Emory Kinnison Sr and Millicent Bapst Kinnison , his loving wife of 45 years Linda Cooper Kinnison, sister-in-law Mittie Tripplet, brother-in-laws Colby Artz, James Cooper and Don Klink, and his nephew Victor Allen Artz.
He leaves behind a brother Dave Kinnison(Ruth) and two sisters Paulette Loraine Artz and Phoebe Lynn Klink. Three children, James David Kinnison(Tammy), Emorieann (Sis)Kinnison(Tommy) and Rinis Sue Rothe(Roger).
Seven grand children, JD Mccurry, Susan Vickers(Greg), Amber and Ashley Rothe, Bradley Kinnison (Taylor), Christopher Kinnison and Savannah Kinnison.
Six great grand children, Jacob and Anthony Sisco, Zoey Rothe, Lilly Kinnison, Braxton Fenton and Athangeline Fenton.
Several nieces and nephews, Korrian Mccoy, Pam Klink, Angela Klink Shipley, Ruth Kinnison-Cooper, Rose Kinnison, Freddy Tripplet, Mike Artz, David Lewis Kinnison, John Klink, David Klink and Kenny Klink.
In addition, to many family members Pete had many cats he loved and cared for over the years.
A private ceremony will be held with family members followed by burial at the Fernwood Cemetery in Lockbourne, Ohio.
